Top 3 Types Of CPA Offers You Must Know
If you are a beginner CPA marketer, the overwhelming variety of offers can look quite daunting. It might seem overwhelming at first to try and figure out what all the different offers are.
Some common types you will find in nearly any CPA network’s portfolio are free-trial offers, zip-submit offers, and e-mail-submit offers. Saj P’s Zero Friction Marketing CPA product discusses these offers in greater detail.
The most popular CPA offers with advertisers and marketers are the free trial offers, and I will talk about these first. The reason for this is simple. The free trial offers are the most popular for the reason that the customer only has to pay a small price for all shipping and handling costs, usually $1.95. The advertiser then has a qualified lead, and the consumer gets what they want for a very low price.
So how does this benefit you as a CPA marketer? For each lead you provide for the company, you will be paid anywhere from $20-$100, which is quite a large amount for just producing one lead from a “free offer”. The consumer will then be asked to accept the forced continuity conditions to obtain the free offer. After the free trial has finished, the customer is also agreeing to pay for future products after the free trail has finished.
The only job you that is your concern, is to deleiver the lead, as retaining the customer is up to the advertiser. This means that you get paid a good amount of money from a CPA offer that is easy to convert. Your job is to get the prospect to the advertisers landing page. Free-trial offers are popular for this reason.
Another very common type of CPA offer is a “zip submit.” In order to get paid, all the prospect has to do is enter their ZIP or Postal code. This is again the companies responsibility to make money from this customer when they submit their ZIP code. You only get paid when someone enters their ZIP code to the CPA offer. ZIP code offers have a very high conversion rate due to the easy to fill out field required, but they generally only pay a small amount. Each time the customer fills out the ZIP form, you will be paid a small amount ranging from 75 cents to $1 depending on the offer, although the more traffic you drive to these offers, the more money you will make.
Like ZIP submits, another kind of CPA offer is email submits. Advertisers will pay anywhere from 75 cents to $2.00 for a simple email address that they can then follow up their marketing with, as it is important to have a list of pre-qualified buyers. You, the CPA marketer provide them with this. Just like the ZIP code submit, you get the email, and the company pays you the commission. If you send a lot of traffic to these CPA offers, they will convert and you will get paid for those conversions.
