Buzz Your Products With a Word of Mouth Blog

Are you wanting to create a massive buzz for your business without waiting for years and years?  If so, you might want to create a word of mouth blog. This is like any other blog in that it will still contain online diary entries of your points of interest. However, it will differ from a regular blog mainly because it will be designed to promote itself. This specifically means that it will have elements that are so memorable, the audience will feel motivated to share it with friends and family.

So, how do you begin a blog like this? Well, it depends on what you’re writing about. Some topics of interest are so noteworthy that they create subsequent word of mouth blogs.A few months back, my mother was telling me about a fat loss blog that became wildly popular, so much, that publishers contacted the author to turn it into a book.  Now, she’s a millionaire, despite the fact she never even intended on creating a word of mouth blog.

Of course, if you can do a little planning beforehand, that will increase the chances that your blog will automatically become buzz-worthy.When I say planning, you should always choose Internet marketing keywords that target the types of individuals who would create exponential buzz.

One of the best ways you could do this is to give free tips on how to make or save money.  However, this is assuming your business relates to that type of thing. If it doesn’t, you’re still able to start such a blog.Just remember that your conversions may not work as well because your audience is not highly interested in what you’re selling. Also remember that they will connect the blog with you as a person, and not you as a company.

There is one exception here though. If you’re willing to give a complimentary product or a free trial of something, people are more likely to be interested even if the blog doesn’t relate directly. If it does relate, you’ve pretty much ensured your word of mouth reputation.

As far as creating your word of mouth blog, you can use free services such as Wordpress or Blogger to get you started.  In fact, in some ways free blogs are a better option, especially if you don’t know much about web design or HTML.Through several of these services, you get a blog that’s already created and turn key.  You just have to enter in the content and add any necessary advertisements.

In conclusion, don’t dismiss blogs as a personal pastime.Just because they’re fun doesn’t hide the fact that they can serve as a powerful word of mouth marketing tool as well.

The Word of Mouth Business – How To Make Money

How would you like to operate a business where your labor is virtually free?  A person’s performance will determine the costs, if they make a sale, they receive a pre-determined commission.  If they do not close a sale, they do not get paid regardless of all the marketing work they may have put in.  There will be few complaints about this arrangement… actually, people will approach you in wanting to be a part of it.  You can have this and more if you create an MLM, the ultimate word of mouth business.

So, what is involved with beginning an MLM?  First, you need to see if your enterprise can handle a word of mouth business structure.  If your company is selling a product or a service to markets with a narrow reach, or not a part of general public interest, you will not have success with an MLM.

On the other hand, if you’re selling products that are appealing to the average person, (like Avon does), you can be wildly successful with MLM.  The same comment can be repeated with services, try to to think outside of the box , since services are not always as easy to market as some products are.  Depending on what the service is, and where the sales origination point is such as the Internet, you may have to create affiliate marketing with your MLM.

Anyway, if your enterprise can handle being a word of mouth business, you must proceed to the next step: acquiring a set of customers who are more likely to promote your opportunity as MLM affiliates.  And the keyword here is promote, because the average customer is just going to take your product and leave things at that.  There’s no obligation to continue generating buzz for you.

With that being said, how does a beginning business find customers who are willing to promote their MLM opportunity? If you already have a website, create a link showing how customers can make money by selling your product. This will draw the entrepreneurs in, without much promotion.

In recruiting MLM affiliates, you could post an ad in places such as work-from-home forums, or Internet marketing boards.  You can make this ad even stronger if you incorporate email marketing.  This is when you give your potential affiliates free e-books in return for their permission to send email newsletters.  So, they get an free e-book and a newsletter; you receive an opportunity to promote once through the e-book, and a large number of times via email.

In conclusion, if you’re interested in creating an enterprise that can run on autopilot consider starting a word of mouth business through MLM.  You’ll make excellent cash while giving any individual a chance at financial independence and the American Dream.

The New Generation of Customers - Social Proof via Word of Mouth Marketing

In many respects marketing by word of mouth can be said to be the “hidden statistic” for all programs, as it’s well near impossible to actually gauge the effectiveness of marketing done this way. Saying that, however, it should be noted that almost every product in this increasingly digital age has, at one time or another, relied on this method of marketing to increase public and corporate awareness of product or service availability.

A recent study exemplified that two thirds of online marketing is expected to be done this way next year, which when coupled with the advent in leaps of Web 2.0.0 social networking and social marketing sites point towards promoting your product by word of mouth may be both more cost effective, and have an increasingly better ROI than more “traditional” online advertising media.

Think about the business model of the current social networking sites. There has yet to be a successful site of this type that charges, instead relying as they do on advertising income to turn a profit. While there is not in a real sense a metric that can be used to measure the effectiveness of marketing by word of mouth, it should be noted that there is one method of knowing if your campaign is succeeding – sales.

A company or client should know from their output volume exactly what the difference between before a campaign, during a campaign and after it’s stopped. This gives businesses a measurable statistic to show effectiveness of this type of marketing. It is true that not all businesses need or desire this form of sales technique, but is also through that not one business turns away prospects garnered from the by word of mouth method either.

Whatever your area of expertise, a study completed by Hill and Knowlton this year showed that decision makers are highly influenced by personal experience’s (58%), with recommendations tied at 51%. Coming in lower than expected was direct marketing at 21% with internet advertising lat 17%. These figures may only reflect the purchasing habits of key decision makers, but a young lady in Oregon deciding to buy one car insurance or another IS the key decision maker for that purchase, and her buddy Becky telling her to go with this company over that company will have a greater influence than any gravel-voiced actor pushing the product in a TV advert.

Essentially, this statistic can reflect any industry, any segment, if each purchaser is the key decision maker. This makes the resurgence of the world’s oldest sales tool a given – so get talking or tweeting, but tell everyone!

Free Viral Marketing – Get Some Today

If you do a web search for free viral marketing, you will see the system at work. Giving something “free” is part of the tactic. None of these companies actually offer free advertising. They could provide free information. But, it will be just enough to make you curious and want to learn more.

Reports, trials, tests and getting leads are many of the things they offer. Of course, if you want lots more, you must pay. That’s how this method of advertising campaign works. It is what you decide to do with your company, too.

It doesn't matter what you offer for sale, you need to think of something that you can give away. You might be an expert at carpentry. You might provide do it yourself tips and publish the information on your website or online magazine or even create a newsletter specifically for people that are interested in carpentry. Then find a way to let people know that you offer this information.

The only way to do free viral marketing is to do it on your own. You would need to create or buy a list of e-mail addresses. Join social networks, follow blogs, get on twitter. Post on all relevant forums. You can purchase a list of e-mail addresses and as well, some companies offer a “trial” for free. We know for certain that giving something away free often generates customers and gains interest.

Success of any campaign depends on reaching a big group of people and offering a free item. But, your success depends on the quality of the item or service that you have to offer. Any product only reaches virus levels if people really love it or they think that that it is a "must have" item. The cool aspect wears off. Valuable items usually always stay around.

Actually, I’m giving you free viral marketing advice right now. Do some companies charge for this kind of advice? There are actually classes that you have to pay for and what they teach is what I have just told you. Of course, they go into great detail to make you feel that the seminar was valuable. But, there really is not a lot to learn.

Do businesses charge to do the marketing for you? Yes. You can attempt these kinds of advertising campaigns , but they take up alot of time and effort. Your website might not even possibly be ready for the amount of business that a viral campaign might generate. If you read some more about free viral marketing, you’ll see what I mean.
