What the heck is a self funded proposal? Who writes this garbage? Are you picturing snake oil salesman danicng around in your head? It’s honestly nothing even close to that squirrely. For some people, network marketing is akin to singing satanic chants, endangering small children, while writhing to and fro around a fire in the woods at 2 am. It’s funny, the anger some people express when it comes to networking and MLM‘s. I don’t know why it touched on such a nerve for so many and why they can’t seem to let go of it…….bummer. MLM’s just seem to have the ability to bring out the worst in some people, kinda sad. For many though, the internet has opened up doors with nothing but opportunity behind them. How does one take advantage of that network marketing opportunity without taking advantage ot the system and spamming the crap out of people. We all should hate spam with a passion! Let’s only market to people that are interested in our message, info or product. Seth Godin’s – Permission Marketing – was a breath of fresh air when that was first released. The whole idea behind the self funded proposal is this……As you go through the motion of offering your business opportunity to your leads and prospects, close to 95% of them will not be interested, however, the majority of them will be interested in various ebooks and software programs that will help them with their own internet businesses. Anything that I can do to provide information that helps someone else succeed at their home based business creates value for them and allows me to earn money that I can use to pay for more advertising to generate more leads and website traffic to repeat the cycle as many times as I care to. It’s really quite simple, not all the marketing programs, home business ebooks, or networking software programs are for everyone, but they will be right on target for many of the people that find themselves listening or looking at your initial proposal.
