So here I am, reviewing all the articles we managed to write up over the past 3 days, and my head is spinning. My goal was 300 articles in 3 days, and we just fell short at 274 articles. This in itself was no easy task, so I still feel accomplished for churning out this many articles.

And yes, I could squeeze in those extra 26 articles tonight, and you wouldn’t even know the difference. But I want this to be an honest experiement. I didn’t write 300 articles, so I don’t want to make that claim, I just wanted a tough challenge. And I feel I got a good one. I learned from this one, and feel next time I try to do this (next week actually), I’ll do much better, and work more efficiently. Once you hit 20 articles in a day, you really start sailing…It was beginning to get effortless towards the end.

And boy do I feel like an expert in these niches! Seriously, you could ask me anything about xxxxxx or xxxxxxxxx and I could talk your ear off, or even write a complete home health treatment plan for you(hint).

Now onto the next, just as tiring part of this experiment; submitting all these damn articles to the directories. Then we’ll see just how much this will pay off..

So I’m here a few days into my own article marketing challenge, and…well, I’m bored. Writing anything under 10 article a day isn’t really much of a challenge. So I’ve decided to step it up, in a big way….

The first, mundane article challenge was weak, with a goal of only 100 articles in 30 days. Way too easy….

NEW ARTICLE CHALLENGE DETAILS:

A whopping 300 articles in 72 hours! Yes, 100 articles A DAY for three days straight. Now THIS is a challenge.

Now, you might be thinking, no way is that possible… But I won’t be alone on this one. I have recruited a fellow article writer to help me complete this enormous task. We will each write 50 articles per day during the 3 day challenge.

The idea is to try and write 9 articles/hour for 6 hours each day, broken up into two 3 hr work flows. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone else try to calculate their articles per hour(aph), =) If I can just cruise at an average of 9 aph I’ll do fine.

This challenge will commence on this upcoming Tuesday the 10th, and continue until the 13th.

I will update this blog as things progress, as well as report exactly how much money this challenge makes us. That’s why we’re all here anyways right?!

Well, everything seems to be going well enough…

Yesterday I got 5 articles into directory 1, as well as 1 article for the actual site. And so far today I have 7 articles, plus 1 for the blog. These articles will be submitted to directory 2.

It’s really not that difficult, you just need to get into the zone. Personally, I put on some of my favorite music, right now its the new Animal Collective album, and just hammer down. Plus, it’s actually fun using Speech Recognition for Mac OS X, and you get much more done. If I can just average 6 articles/day, I’ll shatter my goal of 100 articles in 30 days.

And what about my articles? Well, to be honest, I’m using a lot of the titles and openings in Article Insider Profits, I’ve read many article marketing ebooks, and to be honest, this is the best one in my opinion, mainly because you get a great article marketing swipe file with highly converting titles and openings. You also learn how to effectively integrate email marketing into you article marketing campaign, which is paramount. Pick it up if your can.

There are lots of article marketing journals and challenges out there in the blogosphere, and this is one more to add to the mix. Article marketing will always be an extremely efective tool for making money online. You just have to commit to it. So inspired by Bryan Hufford’s own article challenge over at The Daily Dose Blog, I have decided to create my own article marketing challenge.

While Bryans is 500 articles by the end of Feb, I am doing a slightly shorter challenge. My goal is 100 articles in 30 days.

One of my most important tools in this process will be MacSpeech Dictate. This is speech recognition for Mac users. It uses the same engine as Dragon Naturally Speaking, but is built for Mac. It is an amazing tool, allowing you to write much, much faster. And it works seamlessly with all your favorite Mac applications.

Today I have written 6 articles so far. I plan on writing more later, and hopefully I will crush my 100 article goal by far. They say 100 articles is worth around 4k/ month, obviously this will vary person by person, but let’s see how much truth there is to this.

My plan is structered like so;

5 articles per day on various niches (2-3) driving traffic to simple review landing pages. 1 article per day for site article content. So 150 articles in article directories, and 30 articles on the site for it’s own unique content. This way your building quality content for own site, not just others. Never just submit to article directories, save some of that content for yourself!
